- Cell & BioPharmaceutical Institute (CBPI) was founded on March 11, 2016, as a nonprofit institution.
- CBPI commits to the pursuit of excellence in biomedical science especially in molecular and cellular aspects.
- CBPI has collaborated with many other Academic and Industrial entities to accelerate research and science in Indonesia.
- CBPI has published a journal “Molecular and Cellular Biomedical Sciences (MCBS)” that contains original research and review articles covering all aspects of biomedical sciences since 2017.
- In 2026, CBPI continued its endeavour by publishing another journal “Indonesian Journal of of Basic and Clinical Studies (IJBCS)” covering original research and review articles in wider aspects of medical sciences.
- CBPI is now being managed by The Prodia Education and Research Institute (PERI) which is a prominent scientific institution in Indonesia.
